What you get

A start number for a virtual run around the world. It begins on 31 December 2026 at 12:00 CET; you can redeem your start number from 1 December 2026. The start number is digital access to a web app in your browser, nothing to install, with your own account and your own figure. We will show more when the pre-run opens. Participation from age 16.

Price

€10, one-time, incl. 19 % VAT

A start number costs 10 euros (EUR), paid once, no subscription. You see the final price for your country before you pay. All prices are final prices including VAT (19 % in Germany). Start numbers given as gifts cost the same.

Payment

Payment is handled by the payment provider Stripe. You enter your payment details only at Stripe; we never see them, and the connection is encrypted. The charge appears on your statement as “GLATZ WELTLAUF”.

When the service starts

Immediately after payment: you receive a confirmation by e-mail, your account and your start number (for gifts, a place that the recipient redeems). Before the starting signal you can dress your figure and help choose the starting point. The run itself begins with the starting signal on 31 December 2026 at 12:00 CET.

Withdrawal and refunds

You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because the start number is digital content, you can ask us to begin immediately: at checkout you expressly agree to this and confirm that your right of withdrawal for a place ends as soon as it is redeemed. Places not yet redeemed can be withdrawn for 14 days.

An e-mail to contact@marathon27.com is enough. We refund the amount within 14 days using the same payment method.
